Enterococcus hirae

The Gram-positive, anaerobic Enterococcus hirae bacterium belongs to the Enterococcaceae. The virulence of this spherical bacterium is low and it is a rare cause of infections like endocarditis. The major transmission of Enterococcus hirae is still unknown.

Increasing resistance makes the use of antibiotics more difficult.
